Ani Chapman Executive Assistant
Ani Chapman joined LANtec of Louisiana - Lafayette location in January 2009 as an Administrative Assistant. In October 2010, Ani was promoted to the role of Executive Assistant. In this capacity, she works directly with LANtec senior management to achieve a consistent flow of communication and effectiveness between all three centers; including supporting our bustling growth of new employees, highlighting our latest training offerings, and performing various expansion outreach activities. Ani is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she majored in General Studies with a concentration in Applied Life Sciences and minored in Behavioral Science, Arts and Humanities. During her free time, Ani enjoys hanging out with her family, and especially loves spoiling her two new godsons. She also looks forward to spending time with her friends, watching football, and playing at the dog park with her German Shepherd/Boxer mix, Pepper and Weimariner, Hansel.  Email:

Cali Comeaux Director of Social Responsibilities
Cali Comeaux joined LANtec as an Administrative Assistant in September of 2006. After receiving a promotion to the Director of Social Responsibilities position in July of 2011, she began connecting staff members with local non-profit agencies for volunteer opportunities, in addition to assisting with needs of local charities. Due to having such a soft heart for the underprivileged and disadvantaged, she is truly thrilled at the chance to make a difference in surrounding communities through LANtec. Cali rarely meets a stranger, and maintains that demeanor both outside and within the office walls. Cali is a proud Ragin’ Cajun senior at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, majoring in English with focuses on Creative Writing and Literature Studies, and a minor in Performing Arts. A beach bum at heart - who is happiest with her toes in the sand and a snorkel in hand; she is also a diehard fan of the New Orleans Saints. In her free time, Cali enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, supporting local live music events and festivals with friends, and enjoying being a mom to her son, Tristan, and her “chowder collie”, Lucky.

Jane Brooks Administrative Assistant
Jane Brooks joined the Baton Rouge LANtec staff as an administrative assistant in December 2008. With a background in retail sales and management, she loves getting acquainted with our students and has a very personable, cheerful disposition. She enjoys every aspect of her work and learning new things as often as she can. Along with handling administrative duties such as student enrollments and class confirmations, she also assists our Controller with accounts payable responsibilities. Jane enjoys spending time with her two children and husband, likes playing pool, and loves home entertaining; especially for Saints and LSU football games!  Email:

Tessa Brown HR Director
Tessa Brown joined our team in June of 2009 and has recently been named LANtec’s HR Director. In her new role Tessa will focus on recruiting, benefit administration, and policy development. As LANtec continues to grow, Tessa is most excited about welcoming new staff members and conducting orientation. She believes that properly introducing new staff to LANtec’s culture, benefits and policies perpetuates LANtec’s success and family-like atmosphere. Her goal is to preserve LANtec’s civic and employee-oriented culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement , and high performance. Tessa’s professional career has included positions in Operations and Human Resources. A native of Lafayette, she is a Public Relations graduate from Louisiana State University and loves cheering for the Tigers. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two small children.  Email:

Christina Henry Administrative Assistant
Christina Henry joined LANtec of Louisiana- Lafayette in October 2010 as an Administrative Assistant. Prior to LANtec, Christina worked in telecommunications customer care, therefore she understands the importance of building loyal client relationships over the phone and face to face. She is accustomed to a fast-paced, high-volume environment and putting customers first is her main focus since client satisfaction is what makes the business grow. Christina has a warm and friendly personality that can put anyone at ease. She enjoys meeting new people and always greets them with a smile. Being a native of Lafayette, she is a graduate of PennFoster Online College in Child Daycare Management. Christina has a love for children; she is a wife, and a mother of 3. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, attending festivals, and shopping. Christina looks forward to a successful career at LANtec.  Email:

Jan Day Special Events Coordinator
Jan Day joined LANtec of Baton Rouge as Special Events Coordinator in August 2011. She graduated from LSU in Marketing with careers that always focused on customer service and public relations both in public and private sectors. When she is not enjoying a day at LANtec, she is spending time with family and friends. Hobbies include genealogy, cooking, being outdoors and travel which includes visiting family in Alaska. One of her favorite things to do is to spend time with her two grandchildren and three grand dogs.  Email:

Heather Jones Administrative Assistant
Heather Jones joins us as a Front Desk Administrative Assistant. In addition to graduating from LSU with a BA in General Studies, she also holds a Paralegal Certification. Having a background in real estate, Heather is looking forward to bringing a wealth of professional administrative experience to the customer service aspect of her job. Friendly, outgoing, and energetic, she adores spending time with her 3 year old son especially on outings such as the zoo, park or creek. She also enjoys time relaxing with family and friends, cooking, and, due to a love for reading, is never found without a book.
