Account Executives

Brad Berard

LANtec welcomed Brad Berard to our Account Executive team in May, 2006. He was promoted to Business Development Manager for our Lafayette center in 2008, where his increased responsibilities include supervising the Lafayette-based Training Consultants and growing LANtec's corporate training business across the Acadiana region. He specializes in assisting local companies with taking advantage of the Louisiana Department of Labor's free training grant programs. Brad's customer-oriented focus and attention to detail deliver superior account service to his LANtec clients. A graduate of the University of Louisiana - Lafayette in English and Mass Communications, he and his wife Kara reside in Youngsville. For rest and relaxation, Brad enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Tammy Cannon

Tammy Cannon joined LANtec as an Account Executive in the Spring of 2007. After earning her BA in Marketing from Southeastern Louisiana University, Tammy’s professional career includes diverse roles within customer service, marketing, business development, and management. She is particularly talented at cultivating strategic business partnerships and maintaining quality relationships with LANtec’s new and existing clientele. Tammy’s high energy and fast-paced work ethic make her a perfect fit for the demand-driven technology sector we service. In her spare time, Tammy enjoys a variety of outdoor activities which include hanging out with her two sons and extended family.

Melissa Holland

Melissa Holland joined LANtec of Lafayette as an Account Executive in 2008. A graduate of University of Louisiana at Lafayette majoring in General Studies with a minor in Health, Melissa’s professional career includes various roles within safety training, customer service, marketing and management. At LANtec she looks forward to working with new and existing Acadiana regional clients to customize training solutions with personal service that goes above and beyond their expectations. Melissa brings specific first-hand knowledge of the Louisiana Department of Labor’s free training grant programs (IWTP/SBET) to her valued clients. In her spare time she enjoys shopping, cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Melissa and her husband Gib reside in Lafayette.

Sheila Echols

Sheila Echols joined LANtec of Baton Rouge as an Account Executive in August 2010. Sheila has an extensive background in Sales and Account Management. Sheila brings her winning spirit, leadership, and strong motivation as a two-time Olympian in track & field (Seoul, Korea & Barcelona, Spain) to the LANtec team. She was also a NCAA National Champion while at LSU where she majored in General Studies. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family.

Chris Byrd

Chris joined the LANtec team in the fall of 2011. He was born and reared in Mississippi before marrying a good Cajun girl and settling in Lafayette. A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi in Sports Administration and Marketing, Chris brings over 10 years sales experience to the team with a background in a variety of technical areas. He is specifically adapt to helping companies think outside the box and finding ways to maximize their investments in technology. In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time on the golf course, on the pond, and is a die-hard New Orleans Saints and Chicago Cubs fan.

Danny Morgan
IWTP Grant Specialist

Danny Morgan joined LANtec in May, 2012. Danny is a life long resident of Calcasieu Parish and he truly enjoys the people, places, and the benefits of living in Southwest Louisiana. After graduating from McNeese State University in Business, Danny has had experience in a number of areas such as finance, public and community service, administration, customer service, sales, and management. Danny is definitely a people-person, has a can-do attitude, is a problem solver, and simply enjoys life. This experience and knowledge, along with his pro-business passion to help businesses grow, makes him a great addition to our company.   Danny currently lives in Sulphur, Louisiana with his wife Debbie and 3 kids. When Danny is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, leading worship at church, and fishing and hunting.
