Microsoft Small Business Specialists, such as LANtec, offer technology advice, support and service, specific to your small business. Every Microsoft SBS has completed training to help them better respond to the special technology needs of small businesses. By focusing on your unique IT needs, a Microsoft Small Business Specialist can assist you in making smart technology decisions for your company.


Bringing your business and technology together: Gulf South Technology Solutions, is a provider of professional and technical services along with information technologies services to small to medium size businesses as well as state and local government agencies. Services include consulting, intranet design and deployment, web-based solutions, complex systems integration, software and systems engineering, LAN/WAN Design, implementation and management, systems migration, and solution integration services.


EC-Council ATC

To become an EC-Council Accredited Training Center (ATC), training providers are required to have EC-Council certified instructors on-staff and have an expertise in security technology, as well as have references from customers with whom they have worked. LANtec is a proud ATC with the EC-Council and delivers specialized training year-round geared towards assisting security technology professionals with preparing for their certification exams. EC-Council certifications are designed to provide the foundation needed by every IT Security Professional. EC-Council curriculum provides broad range of skills and knowledge needed to build and manage an organization's networking and security operations and to effectively utilize various resources to achieve operation excellence.


LANtec's partnership with the State Library of Louisiana provides computer training to the citizens of our state and is funded by a three year Department of Commerce Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) grant award. The goal of the grant is to provide additional training and technology opportunities throughout Louisiana in rural, as well as urban areas. This $8.8M federal stimulus grant provides statewide training for the general public and access to new online resources for job seekers and those needing information about health care and wellness. Course schedules and training locations are available here: http://lajacc.state.lib.la.us/ Throughout the life of the grant- December 2013 - over 2700 workshops in technology and soft skills will be delivered statewide. 


The Board of Regents' Learning Center for Rapides Parish is comprised of postsecondary institutions from throughout Louisiana and beyond. The LCRP offers residents of central Louisiana quality educational opportunities in a state-of-the-art non-traditional instructional environment. 
 
The selection of academic programs offered includes developmental courses, certificate programs, associate degrees, baccalaureate degrees, and graduate degrees, as well as continuing education and professional development options. Our state-of-the-art facilities are also available for video conferencing, corporate functions, board meetings, seminars and workforce training. LANtec’s partnership with LCRP is providing Alexandria-based businesses with Microsoft Office 2010 software training as well as professional development workshops as needed by the business community of central Louisiana.

LANtec of Louisiana is a proud member and supporter of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber, the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, and the Chamber of Southwest Louisiana.  Each of these organizations seeks to improve and develop business in their respective markets, and LANtec is commited to providing the highest-quality training to each of their member partners and organizations to assist in meeting those objectives.


 

 

LANtec is proud to have renewed its partnership with the Louisiana Travel Promotion Association (LTPA) to provide training benefits to its 850+ member network throughout the state of Louisiana.  The LTPA is private, non-profit trade organization dedicated to providing educational and marketing support for Louisiana's well-known travel industry.  This partnership between the two organizations seeks to help its members either secure no-cost training through the Louisiana Workforce Commission's SBET program or discounts on technical, applications, and professional development courses.
