This course is not written for law enforcement officers, but for non-law enforcement employees. The material may provide information on recommended actions for non-law enforcement employees to take should they be confronted with an active shooter situation. This course is not industry-specific, but can be customized to your business needs.
This course is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR, infant and child CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. Participants must pass a skills test to qualify for a Heartsaver CPR AED course completion card. This card is valid for two years.
This two-hour course will teach students how to protect themselves from exposure to bloodborne pathogens, how to act appropriately when a bloodborne pathogens exposure occurs, how to clean up after a bloodborne pathogen exposure, and how to properly report the exposure.
The one-day course will provide a general overview of the HIPAA legislation. It specifically covers the privacy and security rules of legislation.
This course will provide students with basic and advanced driving techniques, from adjusting your mirrors properly to avoiding distractions, and from basic maintenance checks to how to handle skid.
This half-day course is designed to aid in developing and executing empathy when working with the elderly population. During this training, daily living simulations and activities will be completed from an elderly perspective.
People with disabilities represent a significant portion of our population. Though there are employment laws in place to protect this demographic, this still remains a highly discriminated against group. By increasing our awareness, we gain more knowledge on how to increase diversity in the workplace, empathize, correct faux pas, suspend judgement, and properly communicate.
What is sexual harassment? This half-day course provides an overview of sexual harassment and explains how to prevent it from happening in the workplace.
