Brad Berard LANtec welcomed Brad Berard to our Account Executive team in May, 2006. He was promoted to Business Development Manager for our Lafayette center in 2008, where his increased responsibilities include supervising the Lafayette-based Training Consultants and growing LANtec's corporate training business across the Acadiana region. He specializes in assisting local companies with taking advantage of the Louisiana Department of Labor's free training grant programs. Brad's customer-oriented focus and attention to detail deliver superior account service to his LANtec clients. A graduate of the University of Louisiana - Lafayette in English and Mass Communications, he and his wife Kara reside in Youngsville. Tammy Cannon Tammy Cannon joined LANtec as an Account Executive in the Spring of 2007. After earning her BA in Marketing from Southeastern Louisiana University, Tammy’s professional career includes diverse roles within customer service, marketing, business development, and management. She is particularly talented at cultivating strategic business partnerships and maintaining quality relationships with LANtec’s new and existing clientele. Melissa Holland Melissa Holland joined LANtec of Lafayette as an Account Executive in 2008. A graduate of University of Louisiana at Lafayette majoring in General Studies with a minor in Health, Melissa’s professional career includes various roles within safety training, customer service, marketing and management. At LANtec she looks forward to working with new and existing Acadiana regional clients to customize training solutions with personal service that goes above and beyond their expectations. Melissa brings specific first-hand knowledge of the Louisiana Department of Labor’s free training grant programs (IWTP/SBET) to her valued clients. Steven Dayton Steven joined LANtec as a Grant Application Specialist in February of 2008. In that role, he assists Louisiana-based employers to better understand and utilize the Department of Labor’s free training initiatives better known as IWTP and SBET grants. His primary responsibility is to ensure a smooth and efficient application process and to streamline much of the administrative burden away from LANtec clients. Steven takes a customer-centered approach to his work and his friendly Southern demeanor makes no one a stranger. He is a 2007 Louisiana State University alumnus, having worked his way through school managing Baton Rouge restaurants and adopting excellent customer-relation skills along the way. Originally from New Iberia, Steven also has experience as a technician with a locally-owned internet service provider there. Steven is a huge LSU and Saints football fan. Magen Thibodeaux Magen joined our Lake Charles based Sales Team in February 2010. She was born and raised in Lake Charles, having attended both McNeese State University and Louisiana State University. With a background in Customer Service and Marketing, she is focused on developing meaningful long-term client relationships and providing excellent customer care. Magen looks forward to informing Lake Area businesses on all that LANtec has to offer the local technology and business communities. Nathan Tallo A native of Baton Rouge, Nathan Tallo joined our team of Account Executives in the summer of 2009. He is a 2007 graduate of LSU and a six year member of the Louisiana Army National Guard. Nathan’s past positions in telecommunications, advertising, and restaurant management lend him an outstanding ability to develop and maintain lasting customer relationships. As a self-professed IT enthusiast, Nathan looks forward to accomplishing LANtec clients’ training and staff development goals. Scott Morgan Sales Manager SWLA Region A love of sales and passion to help people succeed, along with the challenges and fulfillment of developing the Lake Charles market, led Scott Morgan to accept LANtec’s invitation to rejoin its team as Sales Manager of its newest location in the summer of 2010. Scott has been a sales professional for over a decade, and his consultative sales approach helps to guide his clients in discovering the best courses of action to take with their training needs. Scott has worked as a senior district executive with the Evangeline Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, where for a total of six years served communities in Acadia, St. Landry, Evangeline, Vermilion, Lafayette and St. Martin Parishes. Prior to that, he worked as a sales professional in the automotive, insurance, and training industries, including a year with LANtec of Lafayette. His consultative approach and value-based selling style has helped numerous clients ranging from large corporations to small businesses and non-profits maximize their employees’ productivity through computer training. He is also well-versed in the state of Louisiana’s SBET grant program and enjoys helping small businesses take advantage of that invaluable resource. Scott has been tasked with growing the business profile of LANtec in the Lake Charles market and is looking forward to helping the company solidify itself as the training provider of choice in the Lake Area. With the best instructors and sales professionals in the state, that goal will soon be realized. Scott is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science, and is the self-professed “biggest OSU Cowboy fan in Cajun Country.” He also maintains his involvement with the Boy Scouts as a commissioner, as well as staying active with his fiancée and kids.
