Ani Chapman Administrative Assistant Ani Chapman joined LANtec of Louisiana - Lafayette location in January 2009 as an Administrative Assistant. Prior to LANtec, Ani worked in the restaurant industry, therefore she understands the importance of making clients feel welcome and significance of building great relationships with those who surround her on a daily basis. She enjoys getting to know our students, and is sure to greet everyone with a smiling face and upbeat attitude. Ani is a graduating senior at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she majored in General Studies with a concentration in Applied Life Sciences and minored in Behavioral Science, Arts and Humanities. During her free time, Ani enjoys hanging out with her family, and especially loves spoiling her new godson. Cali Comeaux Adminstrative Assistant Cali Comeaux joined LANtec as an Administrative Assistant in September of 2006. She takes great pride in remembering names and faces of repeat clients, as well as helping to ensure that first-time students will want to return to the friendly environment of our learning center. Coming from the restaurant and retail industries, she especially appreciates the customer relations aspect of her job. Cali rarely meets a stranger, and maintains that demeanor both outside and within the office walls. One of the perks of her job is working closely with our account executives and learning more about various businesses in South Louisiana, such as how the benefits of training with LANtec can support their growth. Cali is currently a proud Ragin’ Cajun senior at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, majoring in English with focuses on Creative Writing and Literature Studies, and a minor in Performing Arts. A beach bum at heart - who is happiest with her toes in the sand and a snorkel in hand; she is also a die hard fan of the reigning Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints. In her free time, Cali enjoys traveling and Sundays with her family, supporting local live music events and festivals with her friends, and spending quality time with her “chowder collie”, Lucky. Jane Brooks Administrative Assistant Jane Brooks joined the Baton Rouge LANtec staff as an administrative assistant in December 2008. With a background in retail sales and management, she loves getting acquainted with our students and has a very personable, cheerful disposition. She enjoys every aspect of her work and learning new things as often as she can. Along with handling administrative duties such as student enrollments and class confirmations, she also assists our Controller with accounts payable responsibilities. Tessa Brown Grant Specialist Tessa Brown joined LANtec’s Baton Rouge location in June 2009 as a member of our Grant Team. As a Grant Application Specialist, Tessa focuses on assisting clients in applying for and securing free training through Louisiana Workforce Commission’s Incumbent Worker Training Program. She promotes the grant program as a fantastic opportunity for companies to invest in their employees’ knowledge thereby increasing efficiency at little to no cost. In addition to her grant role at LANTec, Tessa also supports our Account Executives by responding to clients’ class requests, and preparing informational packets of course literature for all outside presentations. Her newest responsibility includes courseware procurement and inventory control at all three LANtec locations. Tessa’s professional career has included positions in Operations and Human Resources. A native of Lafayette, she is a Public Relations graduate from Louisiana State University and loves cheering for the Tigers. Alison Cochran Accounting Specialist Alison Cochran joined the LANtec of Louisiana family of Baton Rouge as an Accounting Specialist in July 2008. Prior to LANtec, Alison worked as an Accounting Assistant for a local real estate developer. Her responsibilities include handling our accounts receivables, course tracking, website maintenance, class schedule updates, and supporting our Account Executives with emphasis on the SBET grant program protocol. Alison enjoys meeting all the new faces that come though our doors each day as well as helping our staff to provide an excellent customer service experience.
